The Sonic Artist

For artists who don't want to sound like everyone else— I make your music sound MORE like what it already is.

im Here For:

Rappers sampling soul records over drill production.

Singers with R&B runs and punk rock attitude.

Soft vocals over aggressive beats.

Lo-fi bedroom recordings that don't want to sound lo-fi.

Gospel influence meeting dark, moody production.

The artist blending stuff that's not supposed to work together—but does.

Your music lives somewhere between polished and raw. Between what exists and what doesn't yet.

If your Spotify "Similar Artists" section is a mess, or people can't figure out what genre you are, or you're just making something that doesn't have a name…

That's what I'm into.

Let the sonics speak

Level matched comparisons, so loudness is not decieving.

About x

Started making music at 15 with FL Studio.

Dell laptop, Blue Yeti, bedroom that wasn't treated.

Spent a lot of late nights watching YouTube tutorials,

trying to figure out why my mixes didn't sound like

what I heard in my head.

You know that frustration—when you hear exactly how

it should sound, but you can't get it there?

Eventually figured it out.

Went to Full Sail, graduated in 2020. Worked 4 years at

Rhythm House Studios outside of Pittsburgh. Learned the technical side.

But I also learned the artists I did my best work with

were the ones taking creative risks. Making stuff that

didn't fit templates. They needed someone who'd lean

into what made them different, not polish it safer.

That's what I'm about now.

If you're building your sound and taking creative risks,

we should work together.

You'll get there faster with someone who gets your vision and is invested in your best.

I'm selective—creative fit matters more than followers or budget.

Best results happen when we both hear the same thing.

11 years doing this. Pittsburgh-based, working with artists worldwide.

If you're serious about your sound and willing to push boundaries,

let's talk.

Client Love

Don’t just take my word, hear from others I have worked with.

“I’ve grown confidence in my music since hearing the progress i’ve made working with X.”

TNE Laneswitch - Recording Artist

“X is hands on throughout every step with attention to detail.”

Deore - Recording Artist

“X is passionate about what he does and it shows in how he gets the best out of you.”

My Process

1. Creative Discussion

We hop on a call to make sure we're creatively aligned. I'll listen to your music, understand your vision, and give honest feedback if needed. Sometimes that means suggestions on the recording. Sometimes it means confirming we're a good fit.

If it makes sense to work together, we move forward. If not, no pressure.

First-time clients: This call is required.

2. File Delivery

Send me your stems or track-outs as WAV files.

Include:

- Your demo/rough mix

- 2-3 reference tracks

- Notes on what you want to keep raw vs. polished

I'll send you a detailed prep guide once we're booked.

3. The WOrk

Standard turnaround: 3-5 days

Rush available: 24-48 hours if you need it

I'll lock in your timeline during our creative discussion so there are no surprises.

4. Revisions

Here's what I recommend:

Listen to the mix on multiple systems—your car, headphones,

a Bluetooth speaker, wherever you actually hear music. Not

just your studio setup.

Take notes over a few days. First impressions matter, but

so does living with it.

Then send me your feedback. We revise until you're 100%

satisfied with how it sounds.

No limit on revisions. I want you to love this.

5.Approval

Once approved, you get:

- Main mix (clean + explicit versions)

- Instrumental

- TV mix (broadcast-safe)

- Any other formats you need for distribution

Ready to upload and release.

My Approach

I'm here to be an artist at what I do, like you're an artist at what you do.

Every project is different, but the approach stays the same—

liberating you sonically, empowering your spirited creativity,

and helping turn your vision into real accomplishments.

I start by understanding what you're going for. Listen to

your references. Figure out what you want to keep raw and

what needs polish.

Then I handle the technical side so you can focus on creating.

I'm making decisions throughout the mix that serve YOUR vision.

If something's too safe, I push it. If the grit needs to cut

through, I make it happen. If your timing is unconventional

on purpose, I lean into that tension.

The goal is making music that sounds like what you heard in

your head—but gives you the confidence to know it can compete

with anything out there.

It's collaborative. We revise until you love it and feel inspired to create even more.

Your sound, realized.

 FAQs

  • Mix: $175 | Master: $50 | Mix + Master: $200
Volume rates and payment plans available for EPs/albums.

  • I take pride in making sure all my clients love how their music sounds when I’m completed with it.

A satisfaction guarantee is what you receive, so your work is in great hands. I will not take on a project where I question myself on getting the end result you’re after. This protects your time and mine.

If we genuinely can't get there (rare), I'll refund you.

  • In our creative discussion, we decide how heavy-handed you want me to be— from feedback on performance to production ideas to shaping the sonics.

Beyond locking in the sonics, every creative decision I make serves your vision. Sometimes that means leaning into what makes you different instead of polishing it safe.

The goal is creating emotional impact aligned with what you hear in your head.

  • Mastering is the Big picture—making sure it’s maintained.

Mastering music now is more important than ever before because of playlisting.

It’s the last 10% a record needs to be finished, and make sure you are at a competitive loudness with other contemporary music.
